Doctor of Audiology
Dr. Lightbody has over 17 years of clinical experience in the DuPage community. She provides excellent patient care with exceptional expertise in hearing loss identification and treatment, advanced hearing aid technology, tinnitus, auditory processing disorders, assistive listening devices, and custom ear plugs. Her 'patient first' philosophy ensures that all patients obtain the 'best of care' based on their individual needs and concerns.
Dr. Lightbody enjoys working with all age groups and receives many physician referrals from the community.
Audiometrist
L.H.I.D.- HIS
Our staff includes an Audiometrist , also known as a Hearing Instrument Specialist. In addition to assisting the Doctor of Audiology, the Audiometrist conducts hearing assessments, prescribing and fitting of hearing aids, patient counseling and follow-up care. Audiometrists have specialized education and training in areas such as physics of sound acoustics, audiometric testing, anatomy of the ear, disorders of the ear and properties of hearing aid devices.
